AML SYSTEMS REVIEW

AN INITIAL VIRTUAL AML SYSTEMS REVIEW

We can provide this support in a virtual environment. This would involve a review of your existing Policy & Procedure manual, firm-wide risk assessment and other compliance forms. If necessary we can provide draft documents.

David Winch will conduct the review and will set up two 30-minute Zoom calls. The first to familiarise himself with your present AML systems and the second call to discuss his findings and provide a written report which can be used to refine any changes required.

His review will also cover your regulatory body obligation to undertake an annual independent review of your AML systems.

As every practice presents a unique range of circumstances we will quote a fixed fee based on the level of support required. This will be agreed in advance by exchange of a contract letter before any formal work is undertaken.

How much will this cost?

Our minimum charge for a virtual AML systems review is £1,500 plus VAT. Any issues that require additional support following our review will be quantified and be subject to an additional fee, agreed before the work is undertaken.

And if, after the initial fact find call, it is evident that both parties agree an on-site visit by David Winch would be advised, our fee would be a minimum £2,200 plus VAT and David's travel (and if necessary) accommodation costs.

ONGOING SUPPORT FROM DAVID WINCH

A MONTHLY AML SUPPORT SUBSCRIPTION

It is evident from the work we have undertaken with numerous practices in the last year, that practitioners, particularly sole practitioners, have a need for ongoing support to ensure that their obligations to meet the requirements of their AML regulators are met.

Please note, this service is only available to firms who have already completed an initial review of their AML systems, with David, either a virtual review or onsite visit.

What our monthly support package offers

- A total of twelve second opinions, by David on any AML reporting issue in each subscription year. If a presented query is complex we may require an additional fee. This would be agreed in advance.
- A quarterly news update on AML matters, by David Winch, focussing on changes to AML regulation and the attitude of regulators.
- And finally, a repeat annual review of your AML systems, conducted online, to be held on the anniversary of your initial AML systems review with David.

Any support offered by this service will be evidenced in writing and can be used to underline the effectiveness of your AML processes.

What is the cost?

The service is provided on an annual contract basis. You have the choice to pay monthly or annually in advance.

Monthly fee: £225 plus VAT

Annual fee: £2,200 pus VAT (a saving of £500)

(In both cases we require payment by direct debit using GoCardless.)

Terms & Conditions

The Ongoing Support Service provided by MLRO Support Ltd (The Company) is an annual contract that runs from the date first taken out.
The service will automatically renew at the annual anniversary date and subscribers will be notified in advance if there is any increase in the monthly or annual fees.
The service – whether paid by monthly or annually is advance - can be cancelled by The Company or subscribers at any time. If cancelled before the provision of the annual review, The Company will refund any subscriptions received in excess of £1,000 for the current subscription year. If the total monthly subscriptions received prior to cancellation are less than £1,000, no subscriptions received will be refunded. If either party cancels after the annual online review has been provided, no subscriptions received will be refunded.
The service costs will be invoiced (monthly or annually) and payments collected via The Company’s GoCardless collection facility. All subscribers will be asked to sign a GoCardless Direct Debit mandate as part of the subscription order process.
